March 7, 2025 – Due to the below factors, the PIVOT Drive is out of production for the remainder of the 2025 Season. PIVOT Drive availability is limited to supply on hand (see here) and current Dealer Inventory.
- Declining sales over the past 3 years
- Significant cost increases on key PIVOT Drive components
- Large minimum order quantitites for key PIVOT Drive components
- Increase in demand for motorized setups
Over the coming months, we will be exploring design improvements, seeking new suppliers, and assessing market demand for pedal kayaks. We will make a final decision on the future of the PIVOT Drive in July/August 2025.
