The Steering Cable and Drive Cable are not designed to go inside the hull chamber.  They do travel along the inside gunwale area to preserve the open deck and stay out of the way of your gear.

NuCanoe will sell the PIVOT Drive and kayaks separately, but Dealers may choose to install PIVOT Drives on kayaks and sell them as a package.  Functionally, there would not be any difference buying separately or as a package.

The PIVOT Drive is not designed for use with tandem seating.    You can remove the PIVOT Drive and add a second seat in on the Frontier 12 for paddling or motor use.

The PIVOT Drive is designed for use in salt water.  We recommend hosing it off after use, but otherwise no special care is needed.
